At Wholistic Dental Care, we put an emphasis on prevention. Integrative dentistry meets therapeutic whole body philosophy. Along with state-of-the-art technology and protocols, we dig deep to find out who you are. At your new patient consultation, we delve into your habits, emotional health, and all of the possible contributors or root causes of oral and whole-body health. Think of it like conscious healthcare. We use modalities such as PH saliva testing, plaque testing, and examination to create your mouth’s story.
We minimize toxic substances whenever possible. We have done the research so you dont have to! We have found all of the best materials on the market for restorative work, nightguards, hygiene products, etc. We use biocompatibility testing and muscle testing to evaluate what materials work best with your body. Some people are so chemically sensitive that they can tell right away if a material doesn’t work for them. Others it may take weeks or months for them to notice an adverse reaction. This is why testing is so important at the very beginning.
We do not use metal restorations in our office, we are usually removing them. Including amalgam fillings, metal crowns or porcelain fused to metal crowns. Multiple metals in the mouth can also cause a galvanic reaction, think of it as an antenna. Who wants antennae in such close proximity to our brains? Not us! With as much radiation, and EMFs we are exposed to every minute of the day, metal is the last thing you want in your mouth.
Advanced technology is a high priority of ours. We use 3d cone beam technology to evaluate your sinuses, jaw/TMJ, airway, and find hidden infections in teeth.
We have a Fotona laser which can be used for restorative work and facial aesthetics. Among a long list of other modalities including nightlase for sleep apnea, and frenectomies for adults or babies.
Ozone therapy is used daily in our office. From our daily ozonated water, to gas modalities for remediation of sinus issues, disinfection, and immunology.
Platelet-rich plasma, known as PRP is widely used- during our tooth extractions, to help with deep decay after removal to facilitate regeneration, natural botox, and facial micro-needling skin rejuvenation.
We test your oral bacteria using microscopic technology. After review, we are better able to educate, support, and get your oral microbiome to safe levels. High-risk bacteria have been known to correlate with Alzheimer’s, diabetes, arthritis, etc.
Safe removal of toxic mercury restorations, also known as amalgam fillings or silver fillings. We use the SMART removal protocol which protects you the patient and your dental team.
If you have a root canal, you want to see us! Root canals are known to harbor harmful bacteria, fungi, and viruses. We evaluate your root canal/s to find hidden infections. Root-canaled teeth are a common factor in autoimmunity and disease and can literally be the root cause.
We refer to the tooth meridian chart. All of our teeth are connected to a meridian, or energy field if you will. If that meridian is blocked due to decay or infection, it can affect another part of your body or organ system.
Individual wellness programs are created specifically for you and your body’s needs. Whether it’s detoxing mercury which has been leaked into your systemic body from your fillings to remedying nutritional deficiencies and aiding in healing and regeneration.
We have a commitment to the environment with our choice of materials and waste management.
Our goal when you leave your appointment is a sense of being heard and seen. We hope to create an eye opening and heart healing experience.
We look forward to being a part of your holistic health journey.
To your health,
Jennifer Corrigan RDA
